About

An index of the blank-check market

SPACListing exists because the primary source is excellent and the interface to it is not. Everything a SPAC does is public within minutes, and almost unusable without engineering in between.

What we do

We maintain a continuously updated record of every special purpose acquisition company registered with the SEC: what it raised, what sits in trust, what it is allowed to buy, when its clock runs out, and every document it has filed along the way.

The dataset is built from primary filings only. There is no crowdsourced spreadsheet underneath it and no scraped message board. When a number appears on this site, a filing says so, and the profile links to that filing.

Who it is for

Event-driven and merger-arbitrage desks that need trust-per-share against market price across the full universe. Long-only managers screening announced combinations before the S-4 makes them consensus. Sponsors and underwriters benchmarking structure. Family offices looking for a vehicle with capital, a mandate and a deadline.

How we make money

A single subscription tier at $7.95 a month, and multi-seat and API licences for desks that need them. We take no payment from sponsors, issuers, underwriters or investor-relations firms, not for coverage, not for placement, not for removal. That is the whole business model, and it is deliberately boring.

What we are not

We are not a broker, an investment adviser or a research house. We do not rate SPACs, we do not price them, and we do not tell anyone what to buy. SPACListing is reference data: it tells you what was filed, and when.
